Wli Waterfalls (Agumatsa Waterfalls) is the highest waterfall in West Africa, cascading approximately 80 meters in the wet season. The falls are divided into upper and lower sections, with the lower falls accessible via an easy 45-minute hike through scenic forest. The area is home to thousands of fruit bats.
History
Sacred to the local Hohoe community, Wli Waterfalls has been a place of spiritual significance for centuries. The name 'Wli' comes from the sound the water makes as it crashes down the rocks.
